Volunteering can make a difference; we can find ways to help that will make our efforts worth the time we invest in them. You might be thinking, “the little bit that I can do will never help much!” or “what in the world can I do?” If you’ve ever spent ten minutes reading a book to a child, or assisting someone in need, you know that even that small amount of compassion and attention can make a world of difference. No one person can solve all the World’s problems, we can certainly make a difference in our little corner of the World. We can help make a happier, healthier, safer place to live for those who need our assistance. Each of us can right a wrong, fill a plate, help a child or visit a shut-in. Without our wonderful volunteers, Live From Collin County would not exist! The LFCC Board are all volunteers.
