Event Date Has Been Set, Venue Selected
It’s the 21st production of –Live From Collin County-Roasted and Toasted (formerly Live From Plano), a satirical musical review, this year benefiting 5 local charities. The event will take place April 17-18, 2009 at the McKinney Performing Arts Center.
It is the third year for Live From Collin County to be held in the McKinney Performing Arts Center, which is located at the Old Collin County Courthouse in the McKinney Town Square.
The Historic Collin County Courthouse is the centerpiece of the Downtown McKinney Commercial Historic District, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
The event will take place on Friday evening, April 17th, and Saturday, April 18th, 2009 and include a pre-show dinner and a silent and live auction. Proceeds from the event will benefit 5 local charities, the Assistance Center of Collin County, Child and Family Guidance Center, Crossroads Family Services, My Possibilities and Journey of Hope.

Last year’s event raised over $76,000 for the agencies after expenses.
