" Live from Collin County (formerly Live from Plano) will celebrate its 20th anniversary April 11 and 12 with "An Inconvenient Spoof: Winner of the NoBull Piece Prize". This year's show will feature several of the audience favorites from years past as well as new looks at the current social and political scenes. Audiences will welcome the return of Fairy Lannery, the Blue Collar Barbershoppers, the Homecoming Mums and the advent of Big Boxes. They will realize that some issues even from the early nineties are still around and new slants will be put on the political endorsements, county bond tiffs, and Leona Helmsley's wealthy dog. Those spoofs and more will add up to a full evening of fun for theater goers and grants to four local agencies named recipients of Live grants."

Last year’s event raised over $40,000 for the agencies after expenses.

Over 150 volunteers work countless hours to bring this wonderful fun filled event to Collin County residents.
